Show description: DEVOTION tells the story of the O'Neill's, a well-to-do Catholic family from Boston. The Village Voice described it this way: "...her witty play throbs with real heart, rapid-fire design, and ironic humor. Deviously, she dissects the deep familial and spiritual bond that ties Jack O'Neill, his wife Barbara, and their performance artist daughter who sculpts Virgin Mary statues in lieu of having religious faith.

MECCA AWARD - Montreal English Critics' Circle Award - BEST PLAY 2003

"...a gem of a production!... a surgical examination of the neurotic Catholic family, yet still deeply moving and warm and wonderfully acted by all!" - montreal.com

FAME TAKES A HOLIDAY

October 26 - November 9, 2000

written by Cassandra Danz, Mary Fulham, and Warren Leight

Show Description: FAME TAKES A HOLIDAY tells the story of the High Heeled Women, a four-girl cabaret act, on the two worst nights of their show biz lives (including one in New Jersey). Onstage, the High Heeled Women perform a tight-knit, madcap comedy revue with songs and sketches; backstage, they struggle desperately to keep their act together. By play's end, the High Heeled Women have lost everything, including their clothing, but they have learned the true meaning of success.

"...their savvy feminity, with its celebration of both girlishness and womanliness and its affection for the female iconography of the mid-20th century is difficult to resist!" - Bruce Weber, The New York Times
