at La MaMa

The Game of Bluff is performed by master storyteller Susan Jeremy who brings to life a multitude of characters in this comic and often poignant tale in which the worlds of gambling and dementia collide.  A multitude of characters – Susan, her  mother, grandmother, a psychic, various gamblers, and elderly Floridians – all betting on hitting the jackpot pepper this tale about the bluff and knowing when to go all in.

The Game of Bluff is the latest collaboration from the award-winning team of Mary Fulham and Susan Jeremy who created the hit shows – Was That My 15 Minutes?, Brazil Nuts, PS.69, and Teacher in the House.

After a workshop production at La MaMa in June of 2026, Bluff  toured the Winnipeg and Edmonton Fringes. We can’t wait to play at La MaMa in the fall of 2027!

“This is a beautifully written look at a complicated Mother-Daughter relationship, what poker took away, and, ultimately, what it ended up giving back.”  **** Winnipeg Free Press (July 2026)
